Does anyone ever write an introductory e mail to each other these days?
Still hoping to get a platonic letter from a thinking lady

| These days people seem to be more likely to use instant messaging but when nothing but a good old fashioned long drawn out letter will do no better way than email |

| I totally agree that e-mail can be the "new age" equivalent to the good old-fashioned long letter. With regular e-mail you have time to refer back to the letter YOU received, formulate your thoughts a bit and take your time typing! When you are done with all that, the recipient doesn't have to decode all of the quicky lingo that often goes with instant messaging! It IS nice to regularly have "real time" chat, so there's a time and a place for each, I guess. |
