Vancouver Olympics
It's been a no-snow zone at Cypress this winter. The resort was closed to the public on Jan. 13 so the Olympic freestyle skiing and snowboarding venues could be prepared. VANOC has even been trucking in snow from Manning Park.

"We've had World Cups in the middle of downtown Moscow where they've built scaffolding and put snow on a ramp and we've jumped," he said. "If they can do that at a World Cup with a much smaller budget, I'm sure they'll have no problem at Cypress."

I went to search the opening ceremonies but they were pulled except the written word or a 2-minute video. I'm disappointed that I missed it but I was sleeping as I had worked overnight and crashed about 3 pm. If anyone knows a good website that shows what the other teams were wearing or the entertainment pls feel free to post.
