Well, I did it this time, I finally really hurt myself when I fell this time. I broke (fractured) the bottom half of my left leg (the part that is just below the knee). The doctor said that there is something small wrong with the knee also but it's small compared to the tibia AND I broke my second toe on my left foot but you can't do anything about that either compared to the broken tibia. I have never broken a bone in my body in my whole life!! Now I have had a really bad sprained ankle that the doctor told me it would have been better to have broken it but that was when I was a ssenior in high school. I don't know whether I'm just getting older or it really hurts this bad, but it hurts like nothing I've ever felt before and can bring me to tears quick.
One thing I'm thankful for at the moment is that he says right now I don't have to havfe surgery, and if I keep weight off it, I will continue not to havfe to havef surgery. No pressure there at all. This gets old fast. Can't even lift my leg to get into bed by myself. And I just got over about a year ago being able to drive again after 3 or 4 years of being unable to not drive.
Throb, throb, throb, shooting sharp pain, burning pain that explains it all I think. Oh I forgot numbness too. Ten weeks the doctor said it would take to get over this. Oh my.....
