Evanescence holds a special place for me. The self-titled album came out during a very rough time for me and I found the darkness in the lyrics very appealing.

I found the song "Bring Me to Life" to be particularly apropos:

Bid my blood to run
Before I come undone
Save me from the nothing I've become.

Not exactly a "haunting" song, but more of an allegorical, squirrelly song. But since there have been many positive comments about K.D. Lang, I thought I'd offer another.

I like the song, but Peter Gabriel hasn't looked like that in 30 years. The video must be some kind of mix. A fine example of the videographer's art.

I've been a fan of Peter Gabriel since the early Genesis days back in the early70's.
