Claude Debussy ~ Clair De Lune

Ghost in this House

"I'm just a ghost in this house,
I'm shadow upon these walls,
As quietly as a mouse,
I haunt these halls,
I'm just a whisper of smoke,
I'm all that's left of two hearts on fire,
That once burned out of control,
You took my body and soul,
I'm just a ghost in this house"
Hi Moondimple: yes, Debussey's Claire de Lune is almost like a fantasy world. In the late 70's I heard Tomita's version of it. It's other worldly too. Tomita is one of the best electronic music artists. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing seashells, I wonder what Debussey would think about this spin?
If you appreciate Johnny Cash (as I do) prepare to weep ( as I do) while watching this video
some say it is his epitaph

As you have no doubt surmised by now, I'm all about sultry, sensual, and passionate things. Loved the song - particularly the lyric: "Soul like a Lucifer, black and cold like a piece of lead." Acknowledges the unspeakable desire we all have for the darkness.
