Are there any Irishmen living in the uk on this site?
I'm known as carantrana on this site, it's the name of a mountain at the back of my grandparents farm
in Co Donegal, where I spent the early years of my life. I was born in Oxford England, but Ireland & Co Donegal will always be my home. Please have a look at my profile & photos & let me know what do you think.
Kind regards:

I'm not familiar with Co. Donegal. My ancestors are from Co. Armagh, and unfortunately have an extremely common last name, so I haven't been able to track them down.

I would love to get to Ireland someday. I have a book that has so many gorgeous pictures of the country. Lucky you, to live in such a beautiful place. :)
hopefulwriter,
You say, you'd love to get to Ireland someday, may I ask why don't you, after all you only have one life,
make the most of it. Can I say I don't live there any more, I now live in England, but hope to go back to Ireland for a holiday, maybe this year. If you like the the countryside, hills, mountains, valleys, lakes,
little bridges, rivers, unspoilt beauty, then there is no need to go abroad, it's all here in the UK & Ireland.

Kind regards,
