My home city and close to my heart when I'm away. The local accent changes am to um. For instance, Birmingum, Southhumpton, and on Sunday I'm cooking a Gummon joint in my slow cooker.

English is a composite of many influences; german, french, latin, dutch, and many more. There is no indigenity in English, not even the Celts. The British are nth generation immigrants.
