9) Act positively
When you don’t feel positive, calm or confident, fake it! Our emotions work backwards so acting positively can actually change your mood. Ever heard the old adage that smiling can actually make your happy? It applies here.

Stand in front of the mirror, smile, and say: “Today I choose happiness.”
Look in the mirror, smile, hitch up ya britches.
And say I gotta get along to go along.
